He is to be known as "Morty" for short. I fell in love with him, & was so glad he was still available for
me to love.
Here he is, on his Chair of Choice. I took this photo with no flash, to try to capture his lovely eyes.
Here he is, in his Cat Cave, which is nothing like a Bat Cave! there is no fast car! No fancy costume or mask! Who needs masks, or capes~! when you have the perfect heart shaped nose! Pink Nose!! Perfect!
Here is a little shot of his beautiful coat. He is such a gorgeous colour.
Gom has been quite Pearshaped about his 'adoption'. He has attempted 'emotional blackmail' and more over it all.
I have chosen to ignore the altered Gom personality. He has always loved and adored our animals.
I have no doubt that "Morty" will steal his heart, and end up on his knee, just like the dogs.
I
I went out to purchase cat litter etc, and offered to cage the little boy, while I was out. Gom grumpily told me he could stay out of the cage.
When I came home all was calm, and the dogs were on Gom's knee, & Morty was in 'his' chair!
I feel a little ashamed. I was going to post Tom Jones, Whats New PussyCat. But... I hate it, so I wont be a hypocrite.

Welcome home, Morty.
He looks very content with his new surroundings!
What an unusual colouring he has, too.
Very cute cat!No wonder Gom couldn't resist :-)
Meggie, what a handsome fellow you have there. I can see why he stole your heart. Welcome to blogland Morty, get ready for all future photo shoots puss.

Oh, he's LOVELY!
Ginger coloured kitties are the BEST.
Isn't he beautiful! Give him a hug from me....I love ginger kitties.
He's a beautiful cat, Meggie! His coat looks so soft, and who could resist that sweet face for very long...GOM will be claiming he's his before long. LOL
He's lovely Meggie. I love it when you get the feeling that he was meant to be yours, same thing happened for us with our new kitten.
I hope GOM is doing okay and that he comes to love Morty.
He is just lovely. Beautiful, and I just love ginger cats. You and Stomper are making me feel totally cat-deprived. Have a lovely time stroking him, and I will send mental strokes. And send some for you and GOM too.
He is SO pretty -- gorgeous markings and I love the soft cream colouring! What a great addition to your household!
He's a beauty, Meggie! But I'm wondering how the dogs are handling his arrival.
What a little love - can well see how you couldn't resist him xxx
Interesting... ;)
Oh, what a sweet little soul! GOM will come around and the cat will win him over. We have a stray that I can't seem to catch. She is a lovely calico and I am afraid that her bulging sides aren't from over-eating! She has been terrorizing the old cat that lives on my front porch and I just want to tame her and give her a place to receive her food. Of course, should she continue to pee and poop on my front porch........ she will be taking a ride to a no-kill shelter!
Each time GOM lays a guilt trip on you, I want you to remember the many beloved plants he has helped go to that great plant nursery in the sky.
In time, Morten and GOM will probably warm up to each other. Probably faster than one might think; cats seem to gravitate to those who are a tad aloof.
You're in a fine and loving home, Morton.
YEAH!!!! WELCOME TO THE CAT WORLD!!! Good for you! Good for Morty! Good for GOM. I too am sure that your hubby will fall in love with Morty in time! He is really a beauty (Morty that is). Such a beautiful color! Such beautiful eyes! I hope he will give you much joy and laughter in return for your love!
he's gorgeous! I love the colour, we had a kitten many years ago (when we lived on the Chatham Islands actually) and he was a similar colour. We named him Kitty Fluff (no idea why)
Meggie, what a lovely, lovely puss cat.....what sort of puss cat is he and, what is the origin of the name Morten?
Sue/West.Aust.
Lovely cat! (GOM will come round.)
What a gorgeous baby...he came right to the right place!
SUCH a lovely cat! And now I understand why you call Gom, Gom! Maybe he'll come 'round.
He is so cute.
You managed to have a perfect shot of him. Congratulations!
