All good things come to an end....

There was lunch with dearly loved ones...

There were timely warnings for the passing parade...

There were dolls for 'little girls' who never grew up...

The animals never ceased... ~ yes I know, the sheep feature, again. What can I say? I am a Kiwi!

There was plenty of Australiana. A lot of it, "Designed in Australia" "Hand Crafted in China". Hmmmmnn?

More Chinese 'crafted' animalia, of Australian flavour...

More pets in begging mode....

Oh the Teddies... the lovely clothes they wear... the sweet, pleading faces... "Buy me, buy me...."

After the trip to the City, a trip to alien shopping Centres, trips on trains, I have around 90 'sketches' I would love to write.

I dont seem to have the skill for pencil sketches, nor watercolours, nor crayon.

I might hope to capture some of them in words, which may or may not be my 'medium'.

As Bec* would say there is More to Come.

Neil Diamond, Song Sung Blue.

You have no idea how long I have spent trying to upload the flaming failure that is the video on youtube, of this song!! Grrrr!

Who is the young man with Henri? He looks exactly like my son in law. It's scary how much they look alike.

Hi, Meggie, I haven't had a chance to visit some of my favorite blogs, lately. I see you have all sorts of new stuff on here! Those dolls are absolutely gorgeous!

To post a YouTube video, you click on the "embed" HTML code in YouTube, copy it, and then paste it onto your blog in the HTML mode of publishing. Hit publish, et voila! the video is there.

Hi Teodo,
I will check out your music. I have enjoyed your music before.

Violetdky, We did have fun, & it is great to get changes of scenes.

Kitty, Thankyou.

Mike, He is my son. I hope you like your SIL.

Jo, thankyou so much for the tip. I can seem to get it sometimes, but must have done something wrong last evening. Too tired, maybe.

The family likeness in your son is very obvious to me. It's a lovely photo of them both for you to keep.

Meg it's a worry; cows are fast becoming NZ's main animal. Far fewer sheep now than before - not much money in them for the farmer, so many are converting to dairy. I know which I prefer!

Hi Meggie,
I've said it before, but you really do have a way with words..
I really hate seeing our Australiana labeled 'made in china', but that's life now..
I love QVB, we were there last year..
Hugs Julia

Ali, Yes, I am aware of the change to dairy, & cattle. It all seems a shame, but the farmers have to make a living. My father was a shepherd, & would be sad to think of sheep going. He was never keen on cows!

Julia, I could spend a whole day in QVB. It is such an interesting building, quite apart from the shops wares.

More delights from Meggie!

You know it's been a good visit when you're sorry to see people go.

Looking forward to your "sketches" - I do hope you'll do them. You're brilliant at such things.

Meggie,
What a great tour - it is always fun to see what other people see in their travels.
Which larger city were you in- Does it take you a long time to get there from where you live?
Does your brother come often to visit you?
The dolls are beautiful but I loved the stuffed animals the best- oh so cute even if they are not made locally..
As always a lovely post by a lovely lady...
I loved your story about your grandson- his rocks for you were very cool..
Take care of yourself - glad to know your rid of that mean old tooth too.
Regards,
Anna
